General terms and conditions of business
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries from WALK THE DOG Boards, owner Christian Jähnig, to consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that can predominantly be attributed neither to his or her commercial nor to his or her independent professional activity.
2. Contracting party
The purchase contract is concluded with WALK THE DOG Boards, owner: Christian Jähnig, Kosegartenstr. 12, 18059 Rostock.
3. Conclusion of contract
- The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but merely an invitation to order.
- By clicking the order button you place a binding order for the goods listed on the order page. Your purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation by email immediately after receiving your order.
4. Right of withdrawal
- As a consumer, you have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the statutory provisions.
- If you as a consumer make use of your right of withdrawal in accordance with section 4.1, you will have to bear the regular costs of return.
5. Prices and shipping costs
- According to Section 19 UStG, no sales tax is charged. The prices stated on the product pages are final prices.
- In addition to the prices stated, we charge a flat rate of 5.90 euros per order for delivery within Germany. The shipping costs are clearly stated on the product pages, in the shopping cart system and on the order page.
6. Processing times and delivery
- Orders received before 12pm on a working day will be processed the same day. Orders received after 12pm will be treated as if they were received on the next working day.
- Delivery is only possible within Germany via DHL.
- The delivery time is up to 3 days. Any different delivery times will be indicated on the respective product page.
7. Payment
The following payment methods are available:

Paypal:
During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. In order to pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered there or register first, authenticate yourself with your access data and confirm the payment instruction to us. After placing the order in the shop, we ask PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is carried out automatically by PayPal immediately afterwards. You will receive further information during the ordering process. -
Prepayment by bank transfer:
After placing your order in the shop, you have 14 days to transfer the outstanding invoice amount by bank transfer to the bank account specified in the order confirmation, stating your name and invoice number. After receipt of payment, delivery will take place within the specified delivery times. If no payment has been received after 14 days, we will cancel the order .
8. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
9. Warranty
The statutory liability rights for defects apply. If the delivered goods are defective, the buyer can demand subsequent performance. As subsequent performance, the buyer can demand the removal of the defect or the delivery of a defect-free item. If this is not possible, the buyer can withdraw from the contract.
10. Dispute settlement
The EU Commission has created an internet platform for online dispute resolution. The platform serves as a contact point for the out-of-court settlement of disputes concerning contractual obligations arising from online sales contracts. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
